Hey, I'm reading again

I got everything squared away with the library and started queueing up orders on a regular basis. Plus, lots of optometrist appointments (an hour each way on the T) and being sick the whole last week of October gave me lots of reading time.

New stove

EMS is running a 20% off sale right now, so I decided it was time for a new stove. (I'll be leading winter backpacks for the AMC this winter, so my alcohol and canister stoves won't cut it...they don't work well enough in the cold.) From the manual: "A brief soccer ball-size flame is normal."
