Quick rec: Big Bang Bundle

Amid my grousing about the poor quality of the ebook experience, I want to give a quick shout-out to someplace that's doing it right, and different. StoryBundle is bringing the Humble Indie Bundle approach to ebooks: limited time, pay-what-you-want, bundles of independently published books.

Current bundle is sci-fi, and kinda pulpy at that. I've held back on recommending until I read at least a little, but there's just over a week left now, I'm about halfway through Bypass Gemini, and it's pretty good, so it's time for the shout-out. There are a few typos and a few awkward sentences, but also some wonderful turns of phrase and just a lot of fun action. Can't speak for the rest but so far I don't regret taking a chance.
