I stumbled across Strength Running a month or so ago, which is a pretty practical, down-to-earth running site. He's cross-linked No Meat Athlete a few times (BTW, see their master veggie burger recipe.) And, well, upshot is I signed up for their group-coaching website Run Your BQ. Not cheap, but I figure: 1) neither are shoes; 2) neither is the plane ticket for Lowell I just sprung for (ouch), 3) this helps take the commitment and accountability to the next level, and really 4) I'm investing a lot of my time in improving my marathon, hopefully investing some money will help improve the return on that time investment.

We shall see...
